We are incredibly proud of our BSY students who recently took part in the FOBISIA U11 Games, competing against some of the strongest schools in the region. Despite the extremely hot conditions, our young athletes demonstrated outstanding resilience, bravery, and determination throughout the event.

Our recent Snowsports Expedition to Switzerland was an unforgettable adventure that highlighted not only the breathtaking beauty of the Alps, but also the resilience, spirit, and character of our students. From the moment we arrived, the group represented the British School Yangon with pride, enthusiasm, and maturity, proving themselves to be outstanding role models throughout the week.

At the British School Yangon, we believe sport is about more than competition, it is about teamwork, resilience, and joy. This year’s BSY Sports Day 2025 brought our entire school community together in a fantastic atmosphere filled with energy, encouragement, and smiles all around.

After a thrilling tournament filled with skill, resilience, and teamwork, our U19 Girls Volleyball Team proudly claimed the title of MISAC Champions! The journey was packed with intense matches and tough competition, but our athletes, both boys and girls, rose to the challenge with determination and grace.

At the British School Yangon, student dedication doesn’t take a break even during the holidays. Our student athletes have been actively engaging in sports training over the school break, showing true commitment and passion for physical fitness and team excellence.

This year’s Sports Day at The British School Yangon (BSY) was a spectacular two-day event that celebrated the joy of sports and the spirit of competition across all age groups. From EYFS to Year 13, the entire school community came together to participate in an incredible showcase of talent, determination, and unity.

A lot of exciting developments are happening at BSY and for our student athletes, nothing is perhaps more exciting than a return to competitive sports in Yangon!

The students had practiced similar activities during their PE lessons and were now able to show off their newly learned skills to their parents and loved ones. It was great to see over 80 parents attend our EYFS Fun Day and we look forward to growing the event even further next year. Well done to all the students and parents who got involved!!
